Will of William Prisick of the City of London, Gent.

Dated 10.5.1730, proved 14.9.1730 at London.

In the Name of God Amen I William Prisick of the parish of Little St. Bartholomew in the City of London Gent being sick and weak in body But of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and Form following that is to say My Soul I Commend to the hands of Almighty God who gave it hoping for salvation through the merrits of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ My body I Commit to the Earth to be decently Interred in a Leaden Coffin as near my Father as conveniently may be in the Vault at Carlton near North Allerton in the County of York And my Worldly Substance I dispose of as followeth 

after my just debts and Funeral Expences paid and satisfied I give and bequeath to my Mother the Sum of Five pounds for mourning 

And to my Brother Cotherington the sum of ten pounds and to his Wife five pounds for the same purpose 

To my Brother Rice's four Children Charles Sarah Elizabeth and John I give and bequeath five pounds apiece for Mourning 

I give to my Master Walton and his Wife a Guinea a piece to buy them rings 

To my Fellow Apprentice Mr Richard Muckleston I bequeath my last new dark Coloured Peruke And also a Guinea to buy him a ring 

I give also to Mr Norton and Mr Nicholls a Guinea a piece to buy each of them a ring 

I give to the two Maid Servants Mary and Anne five Shillings a piece And to the Black boy Nero One Shilling all the rest and residue of my reall and personal Estate Lands tenements and hereditaments Goods Chattells Cloaths and whatsoever else I am any way Intitled unto I give devise and bequeath to my four Sisters Dorothy Anne Elizabeth and Bate and their heirs equally to be divided amongst them share and share alike 

Lastly I nominate and appoint my Brother Rice My Cousin George Prisick and Mr William Giles joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking disannulling and making void all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness Whereof I hereunto sett my hand and Seal this tenth day of May ............ 1730 Wm Prisick
