In the name of God amen the second day of October Anno dm 1598
Raiphe Pressicke of Thornabie in the dioces of yorke being sicke in
bodie but of perfect remembrance did by word of mouth make his last
will and testament and dispose his temporall goodes in manner and forme
following vizt
First he gave his soule to God and his bodie to be buried in the Chappell yard of Thornabie
Itm he gave to his wife Elizabeth Pressicke and to his sonne Willm Pressicke the one halfe of his farmeing and goodes and to his sonne Raiphe Pressicke the other halfe of his farmeing and goodes to bring him upp to holl
Itm he made Mr Parcivall
Appleby of Thornabie gentleman ov[er] seer to his children and he made
his said wife Elizabeth Pressicke his exeutrix Witnes hereof in the
tyme of the visitacon of when none durst adventure to come in the
p[re]sence of the visited Parcivall Appleby gentleman
