In the name of God Amen, the xxjth daye of Auguste in the yeare of
our Lord God a thousand fyve hundrethe eyghtie thr. I Mychaell Presseke
of maultebie in the pshe of Staynton in Cleveland wthin the Countie of
Yorke beinge sicke of bodie but of whole and pfect remembrance thanks
be unto our Lord God therfore do ordeyne and make this my last will and
testament in maner and forme Followinge, First I comend my soule unto
almyghtie God my maker and redemer And my bodie to the grounde to be
buried when yt shall please God to call me out of this transitorie and
miserable world wthin the pishe Churche of Stainton aforsaid yf yt
please God so to appoynt
Itm I give and bequiethe to Thomas Presseck my brother sonne of Hemlington a Coult [?stage?] or els a Coulte [?sole?] whether he licketh better at his owne choyse.
Itm I give and bequiethe unto John Gibsone eyther the afresaid stage or soule wherther the aforesaid Thomas Pressek refusethe.
Itm I give unto Jane Waller my unckle Willm Waller doughter the best gymber that I have.
Itm I give unto Jane Gibsone the best of my thre quies at her choyse And I will that the said Quye be kepte and broughte upe upon my farmehold till she have a Calfe And then she to receyve the said quie and her calfe to her onelie use and comoditie wthout makinge Anie accompte for her charges And I give also unto the said Jane Gibsone one mattres one paire of sheettes thone sheet to be of lyne and thother of harden And one Blankett two happens two Covrlettes one ........ two pillowes

governance and Gardenshippe of my brother Thomas Presseke desyeringe
hym for goodes sacke as my trust is in hym to be good and faithfull
