In the name of God Amen the third day of January 1669 In the twenty and one yeare of the Raigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of God King of Great Brittaine France and Ireland defender of the Faith I Margaret Preswick of Gisbrough wthin the diocess of York widdow being sick and weake in body but of sound and pfect memory praise be given to Almighty God for the same, and knoweing the uncertainty of this life on Earth and being desirous to settle things in order doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following that is to say first and principally I comend my Soule to Almighty God my Creator assuredly beleiveing that I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sinns, and be saved by the prcious death and meritts of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Christ Jesus, and my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buryed in such decent and Christian manner as to my Executor hereafter named shalbe thought meet and convenient, 

And as touching such worldly Estate as the Lord in mercy hath lent me my will and ......... is the same shall be imployed and bestowed as hereafter by this my will is expressed, 

And first I doe revoake renounce frustrate and make voyd all wills by me formerly made and declare and appoint this my last Will and Testament 

Item I give to my friend Henry Shire twenty Shillings 

Item to Ann Garbutt one shilling, 

Item to John Garbutt one shilling 

Item to Thomas Preswick one shilling 

Item to Rowland Preswick one Shilling 

Item to Luke Pearson als Cooke one shilling, 

Item to Robert Pearson als Cooke one shilling, 

Item to William Pearson als Cooke one shilling, 

Item to Margaret Pearson als Cooke one shilling, 

Item to Richard Pinder one shilling, 

Item to Henry Pinder one shilling, 

Item to William Pinder one shilling, 

Item to Thomas Pinder one shilling, 

Item to Alice Jackson one shillling, 

Item to Margaret Woodhouse one shilling,

Item I give to Thomas Preswick sonn of George Preswick of Gisbrough the Tennant Right of the house and Garth wherein I now live with one Table and forme standing in the fore house, and one peece of sealeing in the same, 

Item I give to the said Thomas Preswick one Cupboard in the parlour and my eldest Cowe, 

Item I give to George Preswick sonn of George Preswick aforesaid my great Cowe, 

Item I give to Chrofer Preswick sonn  of the said George Preswick my youngest Cowe, 

Item I give to Oliver Preswick Sonn of George Preswick my Calfe, 

Item I give to George Preswick his foure sonns my two loomes and the workeing geare belonging to them equally to be devided amongst them, 

Item I give to George Preswick my Brother in Lawe all the rest of my temporall Estate whatsoever and I make him Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, Witness my hand Seale the day and yeare first above written Margaret Preswick W marke and seale
