In ye name of God Amen I John Prissick of
Carlton in Cleaveland in the County of Yorke Yeoman the twelth day of
may in ye yeare 1694 being of Good & parfect remembrance, praises
be given to God for doe make this my Last Will & testement in
manner & forme following,
first: I give & bequeath my soule to Almighty God who hath beene a loving & marcifull God to me, & hath [?holpens?] thorow many advarsities, & from ye wickedest of men, & I hope he will strenthen me att ye houre of my death: & I hope he will receive my soule, & for his dearest son Jesus Christ sake: he will pardon & forgive me all m,y sinnes, & thorow his merrits I shall have a joyfull resarection.
I give unto my Wife Susannah: all ye houshould stuff yt she hath Left yt was hir first husbands Christopher Manners, a...... one featherbeed & bouster & all ye sheets & blankits & hapings & Coverl.. & two beedsteads one caled ye close bed, & ye other An: Bellbeeds & one tabell standing in ye inner Chamber, with sum Chists, & one recking & tonges & one Large Longsettell & sum other Implements, which was hir owne really before I married hir, for hir full shaire,
- I also give to my sonne Will Prissick, one quy stirke of one yeare ould upward h..ded, & one read leather Chaire, & one nien haping, & all my wearing Clothes (but one paire of .... briches) in full of his part,
& I also give to my sonne in law my beed & bouster & pillowes with matterris & sheets: & blankits & haping & Coverlitt, & all yt his wife & my deare daughter left me & one standing bedstead with a teaster: standing at ye staires head in ye outterme.. Chamber, & one white Chayer, & one Coffer, & I give his two daughters, Elizabeth & Dorothy: each of them one read Leather Chaire, ye one dubbell nailed & ye other singell nailed this I give to my sonne in Law George Armstrong, in full of all his wife portion,
I also give to my sonne
John Prissick, all ye remaind.. of my goods & Chattels, in whose
hand or posession whosoever they be in: eyther in my wifes hand or
possesion of any other parson, I give them all quick & dead, goods
monie debts & houshould stuf of what kind soever they be, unto him
my loving sonne, I doe make him, my Executor, of this my Last will
& testiment, & In Witnesse wheereof: I sett to my hand &
