Will of Germane Prissicke, Thormanbye, Stainton, Yorks.

Dated 9.8.1561, proved 1561 at York (vol 17, f.12).



In dei nom amen the ix day of August in the yeare of our Lord God 1561 I Germane Prissicke of Thormonbye in Cleveland within the pish... of Staneton yoman sicke and wayke of bodye of full mynd and hole memorie do make my last will and testament in maner and forme followyng Imprimis I gyve and bequithe my soule to God almyghtie my creator and redemer and my body to be buryed in my pishe churche at Staneton [?sd?] 

Item I gyve and bequithe to Rauff Metcalf one quarter of wheat to be paid within fower yeares next after my decease 

Item I gyve to Ric Rawe the sowyng of thre peckes of wheate yerlye duryng the lyf naturall of my wyf ... 

I gyve unto Peter Prissicke and xpofer Prissicke my brethren either of them [?vjs?] viijd 

Item I gyve to Philope Prissicke my brother xxs whiche he oweth me 

Item I gyve to Richard [?Whi..eton?] one whye styrke 

also I gyve to Willm Waller one worsted doublet 

Item to Philipe Whytton one paire of hose 

Item I gyve to Willm Wilcoke one jackett 

The rest of my goods unbequithed my detts paid legaces and funeralles deduct I gyve and bequithe to Jane Prissicke my ..... whom I institute ordayne and make my full and sole executrix to dispose for me as she shall thynke good also the lampe land duryng her lyf and affter her lyf yf she [?be withe no?] childe to Philipe my brother wytnesses Robert Wilcoke Robert Barbar Thomas Gray and John Symone
