Brotton January the 13th 1665
In
the name of God Amen I Christopher Pressicke of Brotton Aforesayd in
the County of Yorke Weaver being sick in body but pfect in memory and
Remembrance praysed be God doe make and ordaine this my last will and
testament in the prsence of these wittnesses in manner and Forme
Followeth (that is to say) First I bequeath my soule into the hands of
Almighty God my maker hopeing that through the meritorious death and
passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer to Receive Free
pardon and Forgiveness of all my sinnes, And as For my body to be
buried in the Church yard of Brotton
Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Thomas Pressicke and to his wife Mary Pressicke Five shillings Apeece
Item I give unto Thomas Pressicke my sonne Thomas sonne Five shillings
Item unto Christopher Pressicke my sonne Thomas sonne Five shillings
Item I give unto James Pressicke my sonne Thomas sonne Five shillings
Item I give unto Mary Pressicke my sonne Thomas daughter Five shillings
Item I give unto Anne Pressicke my sonne Thomas daughter Five shillings

to Every one of them twelve pence apeece,
All the rest of my goods and chattells moveable and Immoveable I give unto my sonne Rowland Pressicke my Funerall expences payd and to pay all these my Legacies within one yeare after my decease And I make my sonne Rowland Pressicke Aforesayd my Sole and whole Executor of this my last Will & testament
