Will of Peter Porrett, Hartlepool, Co. Durham.

Note carefully: this will would appear to be nuncupative. A number of 'standard' clauses have been struck through.

In the name of God Amen the xxvjth of June Anno dm. 1614. I Peter Porrett of Hartlepoole in the countye of Durham beinge sicke in bodye but of good and of pfect mynd & memorie thanks be to God did make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge First I committ my soule unto almightie God and my body I committ to the earthe from whence it came did give and bequeathe to Willm Gibson xxs to Richard Porrett xs To Jane Hewetson xs To Allice Rutter xs to Willm Porrett xls to Robt Porrett sonne of Richard Porrett a ....... axe and a chessell Item I  And did give .... to my his mother Agnes Porrett all my his interest and title that I have he had in the burgage purchased of Richard Porrett and I doe did make my his said mother executor executrix of my his will and did give to her all my his goods and chattells
