Will of John Porrett, Stockton on Tees, Co. Durham. 

Dated  2.3.1740, proved 23.11.1743 at York.

In the name of God Amen I John Porrett of Stockton upon Tease in the County of Durham Do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following 

I give and devise all my lands and tenements scituate lying and being in the Town and Township of Stillington and elsewhere in the County of Durham to my Dear wife her heires Executors Administrators and assigns chargeable with the payment of my just debts and funerall expences and I doe make my said Dear wife sole Executrix of this my last will and testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this second day of March in the year of our Lord God one thousand seaven hundred and forty
