Will of John Porrett of Nawton Mulgrave, Yorks.

Dated 15 July 1677, proved at York 1 April 1680.

I John Porrett of Nawton Mulgrave being sicke of body but of pfect remembrance praysed be God, Imprimis I bequeath to my daughter Anne Porrett one Cow in lieu of money left by William Porrett, Alsoe I give to each of my children two Sheepe in lieu of money left by Robert Stephenson; Also I constitute my wife Anne Porrett & my Sonne Thomas my executors of this my last will and Testament

In case my sonne Thomas Porrett enter to this farme att the end of tenn yeares he shall finde my Wife a cow keepeing & when my sonne enters of this house he shall be att halfe charge of building a house for my Wife, Allso I give my sonne Thomas Porrett all my husbandry geere aboute my house, And my will further is that my wife shall have the farme for tenn yeares.
