Will of Isabell Porrett, Mickleby, Yorks 

 

Dated  9.4.1724, proved 18.3.1726 at York.


In the name of God Amen I Isabell Porrett of Mickleby being weake of body butt perfect of memory praised be Allmighty God for it Doe make ordaine and constitute this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following Disanulling all other Will or Wills by me formerly made first I bequeath my soul to God who gave it to me and my body to be decently buried att the descression of my Executors here after nominated 

Imprimis I doe give and bequeath unto my three sonns and their heirs and assignes for ever all that Intack purchased of William Hodgson of Ugthorpe every one their part or share as it is now devided and in their owne possession with ..ay to the same and if my sonne Christopher die without issue his part to be... the heirs of William Porrett 

Item I doe give and bequeath unto Francis Porrett my Grandsonne one sheet and a pillebor 

Item I doe give and bequeath unto Isabell Porrett my Grandchild one sheet and a pillebor 

And as for the rest of my goods and chattels what soever I doe give and bequeath unto my three sonns William Porrett Henry Porret and Christopher Porrett equally to be devided amongst them and I doe make ordaine and constitute my three sonns Executors of this my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have Hereunto sett my hand and seale the twenty ninth day of April 1724
