Whereas Francis Porritt late of Liverton in the County of York yeoman died intestate some short time after his wife, leaving issue only three daughters (to witt) Elizabeth, Ann, & Mary Porritt, since whose death the said Ann hath intermarried with Robert Smith of Normanby in Cleveland in the said county of York Taylor, but neither the said Elizabeth nor Mary Porritt have ever yet been married And Whereas the said Robert Smith and Ann his wife Elizabeth Porritt & Mary Porritt have agreed, that Administration of the Goods and Chattles late of the said Intestate shall be granted to her the said Elizabeth Porritt Therefore these presents Witness that we the said Robert Smith Ann Smith and Mary Porritt Have and each & every of us Hath Renounced and Relinquished And hereby Do and each and every of us Doth Renounce & Relinquish the Administration of the Goods & Chattles late of the said Francis Porritt deceased, And Do hereby severally Desire Consent and Agree that administration thereof may be immediately granted and committed to the said Elizabeth Porritt, And wee the said Robert Smith Ann Smith and Mary Porritt Do and each & every of us doth hereby authorise and appoint John Shaw Gentleman our true and lawfull proctor for us and every of us and in our and every of our name and names to exhibitt this our Renunciation and to procure the same to be duly admitted and allowed and to do all and singular other acts and things requisite and necessary to be done touching the premises as fully and effectively in all respects as we might or could do if we were personally present. And whatsoever our said proctor shall lawfully act or do in pursuance hereof we and each of us shall and will and hereby do and doth Ratifye Confirm and allow -- Given under our severall hands and seals this Eleventh day of December In the tenth year of his present Majesty King George the Seconds Reign and in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty six
