Will of George Perrott of the Minster Yard within the walls of the City of York.

Dated 9.5.1799, proved 14.12.1799 at York and 17.7.1801 at London.

Extracted from the Registry of the Prerogative Court of York
In the Name of God Amen I George Perrott of the Minster Yard within the walls of the City of York being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding but considering the Frailty of this mortal Life do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) 

I direct and will that my Executrix hereinafter named shall in the first place pay and discharge all my just debts and my funeral and testamentary Charges and Expences 

I give devise and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Martha Perrott all that my Freehold Estate situate and being at Holme on the Wolds in the County of York and [?...?] in the Tenure or Occupation of John Swift to hold the same and to have receive and take [?..............?] and other Rents Issues and Profits thereof [?....?] during the term of her natural Life. 

And from and after the decease of my said Wife Martha Perrott I give devise and bequeath the said Freehold Estate [?...?] situate at Holme on the Wolds aforesaid to Mary Bousquet Wife of the Revd James Bousquet of Aldr..ge in the County of Stafford (late Mary Perrott [?....?] her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes absolutely and for ever 

all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estates and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever both real and personal I give devise and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Martha Perrott To hold the same and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Martha Perrott her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns absolutely and forever And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said Wife Martha Perrott to sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this ninth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine George Perrott

Signed Seal'd published and declared by me the said George Perrott as and for my last Will and Testament in the presence of Matthew Brown upholder, Nathl Bell Stationer, [?York?] Thos Richardson Brazier York

This Will was proved before the Reverend William Richardson Clerk Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Os.... Markham Master of arts Commissary and Keeper General of the Exchequer and Prerogative Court of the most Reverend Father in God William by divine Providence Lord Archbishop of York Primate of England and Metropolitan lawfully constituted And on the fourteenth day of december in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine administration of all and singular the Goods and Chattels Rights and Credits which were of the said George Perrott deceased was granted to Martha Perrott widow his Relict the Sole Executrix in the said Will named she having been first sworn as the Law requires saving the Right of every other Person Joseph Buckle Deputy Register

This Will was proved at London the seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and one before the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Martha Perrott widow the Relict of the deced and Sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted she having been first sworn by Commission duly to Administer
