10.10.1684 Christopher Prissick of the psh of St Paul Shadwell, Middx, Marryner aged 27 yeares or thereabouts

"......that he this dept haveing bin often times att the Barbadoes doth
very well knowe that the Beirries called Barbadoes Black beiryes or
Black sope beiryes were worth noe more there than the gatheringe since
the yeare 1681 and this dept could have them there paying only for the
gathering and any one might have them that pleased to have them
gathered for they grew in comon And this dept sayeth that he hath
brought some over into England for the complt and paid noe more for
them but for the gathering And sayth that the physick Nutts are worth
noe more than the gathering which any one may have gathered for three
pence a bushell or thereabouts And sayth that he this dept would bring
the said Beiryes and Nutts into England for three shillings a Bushell"
