Coulson & Maxwell v Porrett

of Francis Coulson, Scarbrough, Gent & Barbara Maxwell, Scarbrough, Widow. 2 of the executors & children of Thomas Coulson, late Scarbrough, Shipwright

Concerns the claim that William Porrett is interfering with the fair division of the property of Thomas Coulson decd.

cites the will of Thomas Coulson (dated 3.12.1768), legatees include:
- grandson William Coulson, son of William Coulson decd, eldest son of Thomas Coulson the testator
- son Francis Coulson
- grandchildren Thomas Forster & Elizabeth the wife of Joseph Huntriss, Scarbrough, Master & Mariner 
- son in law William Porrett
- daughter Barbara Maxwell
- daughter Ann Coulson ( who died before Thomas Coulson the testator)
- grandson Thomas Coulson

- notes that William Porrett lives in a house which belonged to Thomas Coulson
- also mentions Thomas Maxwell, Peter Maxwell, Francis Maxwell, Elizabeth Maxwell, William Porrett jun, Coulson Porrett, John Wright & Sarah his wife
